  • Milk and Honey Hair Mask

This hair mask is amazing. It will put plenty of moisture into stressed tresses. Milk is full of fat to make your hair soft and flexible. Lactic acid helps to clear away old, dead hair cells that may have accumulated on your hair and caused it to become rough and lifeless. Honey is a humectant. It attracts as well as retains moisture. For softer and bouncier hair, try out this milk and honey mask. 

Ingredients

½ cup full-fat milk (use cream if you have super coarse hair)

1 teaspoon honey (Raw Honey)

Method

Warm-up milk slightly, adds honey, and stir until fully dissolved.

Put it in a spray bottle and spray onto your hair and scalp. 

Put on a shower cap or wrap the head in a towel. 

Rinse off thoroughly after 30 minutes with natural hair cleansers and dry naturally.

When using cream, mix it with honey, and give a good stir. Apply on hair and scalp using fingers or applicator bottle. Follow the above instruction.

  • Banana and Milk Hair Mask 

This is an excellent mask for dry and damaged hair. High in vitamins, and minerals, bananas have moisturizing and shine-enhancing power. Couple this with milk and honey for silky, smooth, and extra shiny hair. 

Ingredients

1 ripe banana or baby food banana puree

Full-fat milk (enough to thin out bananas)

1 tablespoon raw honey (optional)

1 tablespoon almond oil (optional)

Method

Put all the ingredients in a blender and blend until smooth. Its consistency should be runny, but still thick enough to stay on your hair.

Leave no chunks. As it’s difficult to wash out banana chunks.

If you prefer not to use milk, you can use coconut milk instead, which is equally moisturizing and hair softening.

Start with dry or damp hair. 

Apply the mask to scalp and hair 

Put on your shower cap or wrap the head in a towel. 

Leave this on for 30 minutes

Rinse off thoroughly. 

Wash the hair with natural hair cleansers and dry naturally.

  • Coconut Milk Hair Mask

½ cup of coconut milk

1 tablespoon olive oil 

1 tablespoon raw honey (optional, provides extra moisture)

1 egg yolk (optional, for bounce and glossy look)

3 drops rosemary essential oil (optional)

Method

Mix all the ingredients.

If you find the mixture too thick you can add some warm water to it.

Start with dry or damp hair. 

Apply this mask to hair and scalp

Put on your shower cap or wrap the head in a towel. 

Let it soak in for 50 minutes for it to moisturize your hair. 

Wash hair with natural cleansers and dry naturally.

  • Avocado Hair Mask

Put the avocado pulp, olive oil, honey (egg yolk and coconut milk), and some water into a blender and blend to a smooth, creamy paste.

Start with dry or damp hair. 

Apply this mask to the scalp and hair. 

Put on a shower cap or wrap the head in a towel.

Leave it on for 30 minutes

Wash with homemade shampoo or SLS free shampoo and let your hair dry naturally.
