Eye problem
Never lower your vision with high blood pressure, know everything about it.
When a person is suffering from high blood pressure there are many chances of lowering vision power. Vision symptoms may not show up for years. But ultimately, high blood pressure can result in hypertensive retinopathy, blood vessel damage-causing blurred vision or loss of sight, a blood flow blockage that can kill nerve cells and cause vision loss.
In the same way, high blood pressure may not reveal itself for decades before causing a heart attack or stroke, which earns its grim description as the “silent killer.” this is why detecting high blood pressure early – and treating it with diet, exercise and medication – is crucial.
Eyes contain tiny blood vessels, long term effects of high blood pressure can cause the following problem.
Eye problem
• Nerve damage (optic neuropathy)
Blocked blood flow can result in the damaged optic nerve, and can kill nerve cells in your eyes, which may cause temporary or permanent vision loss.
• Blood vessel damage (Hypertensive retinopathy)
People with the diabetic condition of blood pressure are more prone to this disease, as the flow of blood in the retina is being stopped which results in low vision or loss of sight, controlling blood pressure is only the solution. this the major problem high blood pressure patients may get .there are more chances of having HR.
• Fluid buildup under the retina (choroidopathy)
The fluid is being developed under the retina, the light-sensitive layer of tissue at the back of the eyeball results in distorted vision or, impaired vision.
Symptoms of Hypertensive Retinopathy
• the reduced vision of the eye
• swelling
• bursting of a blood vessel
• double vision
• headaches
Who is more prone to Hypertensive Retinopathy
High blood pressure patient, heart disease patient,  diabetic patient, high cholesterol, overweight, eating an unhealthy, smokers, alcoholic.
Classification of Hypertensive Retinopathy:
The extent and severity of the retinopathy are generally represented on a scale of 1 to 4. The scale is called the Keith–Wagener–Barker Classification System. The four grades increase in severity. like grade 1 is least severe as compared to grade 2 and grade 3 and grade 4 are most severe.
Treatment for Hypertensive Retinopathy:
1-Healthy lifestyle
2- Eating habits
3- Controlling cholesterol
4- Losing weight.
5- Getting the medication
6- Take blood pressure medicine  regularly
7- Excercise
8- Quit smoking
9- Avoid alcohol
10-Balanced diet
