Cancer is a disease in which abnormal cells divide uncontrollably and destroy body tissues. 1. Unexplained weight loss
Most of the people, especially women are struggling to reduce their weight and look lean. You may consult a doctor for the overweight but you will happily ignore the weight loss. But experts suggest that if you are losing your weight tremendously, you should consult a doctor without fail because it may be the symptoms of liver cancer, pancreatic cancer, esophageal cancer or leukemia.
2. Postmenopausal bleeding
Menopause is a natural condition in which women’s reproductive hormones decline as they get old. This usually happens between the age of 45- 55. Menopause is declared when a woman did not get her periods for one year. If you are in this stage and you get a sudden vaginal bleeding, immediately you should go for a check up. One of the main symptoms of cervical or uterine cancer is the unexpected bleeding.
3. Changes in the skin
If you notice some change in your skin such as appearance of mole, freckle or spot it would be better to consult a dermatologist to find out the cause. Sometimes it can be the early stage of a skin cancer. Those who are more exposed to sun, they are more in the risk of getting skin cancer.
4. Frequent Fevers
Fever is a common disease you may experience at least once in a year. But if you are getting fevers frequently then you should be very concern about that. The early symptom of leukemia is frequent fevers or infection because first it will affect your immune system.
5. Changes in breast
Women should be very alert and should have a self examination of her breast frequently. If you notice any of these breast cancer symptoms such as swelling, discoloration of skin on the breast, nipple inversion, pain, discharge or bleeding from the breast you should not ignore and get an appointment with your doctor.
