In winter especially, people wear more warm clothes to avoid cold, so the amount of sunlight getting to the body also decreases, due to which the risk of getting multiple diseases or infection increases and immunity also decreases. Taking sunlight is very beneficial for children. Those children, who have stopped drinking breast milk, must consume foods rich in calcium in addition to taking sunlight as they require a good amount of vitamin D for the development of bones.

  • If you are not a morning person, then the time of sunset in the evening is also a suitable time to soak sunlight into your body.
  • While sunbathing, irrespective of time, keep in mind that do not expose your body to the sunlight for a longer time, doing so can harm you instead of benefit.
