More About Shalini Bhargava

Shalini was born and brought up in New Delhi, India. Dancing has been her hobby and passion since childhood. She is a trained Indian Classical Dancer, Latin American Dancer, as well as Bollywood Dancer and has taken part in many events in her school and college.

A chance encounter with Sarina at the IDEAS Fitness conference introduced her to The Masala Bhangra Workout and she became deeply inspired by the Program, more so because the program represented her culture and country and she proudly represents the Program.

Shalini is also an Internationally recognized Performance-enhancement coach, Group exercise instructor, Personal trainer, and Speaker, who motivates, educates, and inspires people worldwide. Shalini is the founder and creator of JG’S Fitness Centre in Mumbai, where her team focuses on Aerobics, The Masala Bhangra Workout, Zumba, Power Yoga, Spinning, Stott Pilates, Bootcamps, Circuit, and Interval training, Personal training, Sports performance training, Nutrition, Physical therapy, and Chiropractic to help transform the bodies, minds, and spirits of a broad clientele.

At 45, Shalini Bhargava is a powerhouse of energy. This fitness trainer, nutrition expert, and entrepreneur has been running JG’s fitness centre in Santacruz, Mumbai. In the past few years, they expanded from a group exercise centre to a state-of-the-art gym, Pilates facility, and a rehabilitation centre.

The mother of two, her 25-year-old son is a celebrity nutritionist and 22-year-old daughter is a law student. Shalini was the first of her trainers to start classes. Using the Zoom app and Instagram live feature, she goes live at a set time every day for about 40 minutes. Any individual of any age group can follow the class from home.

Thousands of fitness videos are available on the internet for free, but having a live trainer-led session has its benefits. Shalini had to make sure that she did not lose the personal touch with her clients even if she was online. JG’s Livestream fitness sessions, which are pre-booked, take in only a limited number of participants. In these sessions, Shalini personally watches over and corrects postures.
