Type Of Cuisine: Indian

Ingredients: (For 2 people)

Black chickpeas: 1/2 cup

Rice: 1 cup

Coconut milk: 2 cup

Ghee: 1 tbsp

Cumin seeds: 1 tsp

Onion: 1 large size

Tomato: 2 small size

Green chilli: 2

Coriander leaves: a few

Mint leaves: a few

Turmeric powder: 1 tsp

Salt: as per the required taste

Cashews: 6

Cooking Procedure:

  • Soak the black chickpeas overnight.
  • Heat the cooker and add ghee, cumin seeds, chopped onion and finely chopped tomatoes.
  • Fry them for few seconds and add mint leaves, coriander leaves and green chili.
  • Then add soaked black chickpeas, turmeric powder and salt.
  • Add rice and coconut milk to these and cook it for 20 minutes or 4 whistles.
  • Finally, add some roasted cashews. Your black chickpeas rice mix is ready.
